Gabriel Hermida is an Argentinian guitarist who infuses his compositions with the essence of classical tango, flamenco and contemporary jazz. He’s coming to Subrosa, performing his new ensemble with the rhythms of tango and flamenco. Most of Gabriel’s compositions are instrumentals, drawing on influences from tango and jazz, along with contemporary music. When his songs do have lyrics, they often tell personal stories, giving them an added meaning for the artist and audience. Gabriel has also been performing with dancer Savion Glover for the past five years, including appearing at some of New York’s most prestigious venues.

Gabriel Hermida es un guitarrista argentino que infunde sus composiciones con la esencia del tango clásico, flamenco y jazz contemporáneo. Él viene a SubRosa, la realización de su nuevo conjunto con los ritmos del tango y el flamenco. La mayor parte de las composiciones de Gabriel son instrumentales, a partir de influencias de tango y jazz, junto con la música contemporánea. Cuando sus canciones tienen letras, suelen contar historias personales, dándoles un significado adicional para el artista y el público.
