Danito y su Salsondria lead by Daniel Odria of Washington heights is a NYC based Timba band. The group was formed in 2013 with the sole purpose of promoting Cuban Salsa or “Timba”.  Salsondria hosts weekly Cuban dance parties all over NYC. The group consists of musicians from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua and NY. No other band or party is pushing Cuban music like Salsondria. With a song book ranging from the original Timba sounds to the contemporary, this band delivers the rare sounds of of the island like no other. Come dance to Danito y su Salsondria ……pa’ CUBA!
